Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SellSnap handles information when you use the SellSnap mobile, desktop, or web app. SellSnap helps sellers create marketplace listings from photos, notes, and optional account data.
SellSnap is not OLX. OLX account sign-in, account data, and listing publication are provided by OLX and remain subject to OLX's own terms and privacy practices.

Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, SellSnap may process the following information:
- Photos you select or capture for a listing, including converted image files generated by the app.
- Seller notes, item descriptions, generated titles, generated descriptions, suggested prices, categories, attributes, and listing metadata.
- OLX authorization data, including OAuth callback state and access or refresh tokens needed to connect your OLX account.
- OLX profile information returned by OLX, such as your seller name and email address.
- Location coordinates if you choose to use device location so SellSnap can suggest a nearby OLX listing city or district.
- Basic technical and diagnostic data generated by app requests and app usage, such as request status, errors, service responses, and feature events.
How We Use Information
SellSnap uses information to:
- Generate listing titles, descriptions, prices, categories, and attributes.
- Upload listing photos and obtain public image URLs needed for listing generation and publication.
- Connect to your OLX account, read your OLX seller profile, and publish listings when you request it.
- Suggest listing location values based on your device location when you request location assistance.
- Maintain app session state, understand feature usage, troubleshoot errors, fix crashes, and protect the app from misuse.
Third-Party Services
SellSnap shares information with third-party services only as needed to provide the app's features:
- OpenAI may receive listing photos, seller notes, and generated listing context submitted for AI-assisted listing generation.
- Supabase may store uploaded listing photos and authentication data used by SellSnap's storage integration.
- OLX may receive your authorization request, profile requests, listing content, image URLs, location data, category and attribute data, and publish requests.
- Firebase may receive app analytics events, crash reports, diagnostic logs, and related technical data used to understand app usage and improve reliability.
Permissions
SellSnap asks for device permissions only when needed for a feature:
- Camera access is used to capture listing photos.
- Photo or file access is used to select listing photos.
- Location access is used to suggest a nearby OLX listing location.
Storage, Retention, and Deletion
OLX tokens and session data are stored locally by the app so you can stay connected. You can delete SellSnap account data in the app from Profile by choosing "Delete SellSnap account data." This removes the saved OLX connection, local profile cache, guest session, and saved selling location from the device. Token data may also be cleared when authorization fails or expires.
Uploaded listing photos may remain in SellSnap's storage provider until they are no longer needed for app functionality, operational maintenance, or legal reasons. To request deletion of additional data associated with your use of SellSnap, contact sasha.sirelon@gmail.com.
Security
SellSnap uses service APIs and local app storage to process information needed for listing creation and publication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so SellSnap cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
SellSnap is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through SellSnap, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Choices
- You can use guest mode to create listing text without connecting an OLX account.
- You can decline optional permissions, though related features may not work.
- You can delete SellSnap account data from Profile in the app or request access, correction, or deletion by contacting sasha.sirelon@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when SellSnap changes or when legal, operational, or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this version became effective.
